Woodystock Blues: A Hand Up Foundation focuses on practical ways to support adults living on the autism spectrum and the families and caregivers who support them.
Our work centers around four key areas.
We help provide opportunities for adults on the autism spectrum to pursue education, creative interests, and personal development.
Support may help with:
Classes and tuition
Instruments
Art supplies
Studio time
Certifications
Educational equipment
Music can create connection, joy, and a sense of belonging.
We help adults on the autism spectrum and their caregivers experience live music through support such as tickets, transportation, and accommodations where available.
Our own Woodystock Blues Festival is part of this commitment to making music and community more accessible.
Families and caregivers often need connection and support as they navigate adulthood on the autism spectrum.
We support opportunities for families and caregivers to connect through peer support, social opportunities, resources, and community relationships.
Greater awareness can help create more supportive communities
We provide opportunities for autism education through workshops, information, and community conversations designed to help organizations, employers, venues, and community members better understand autism and the experiences of adults living on the spectrum.
Adults on the spectrum and their families need support that continues beyond childhood. You can help provide that support.
Supporting adults living on the autism spectrum and the families who care for them. Through creativity, connection, and a community that cares.
